This is your opportunity to get your hands in the clay and not have to commit to a several-week class, or it’s time to just get out of the house and have some you time and try something new.
These 2-hour workshops are a perfect introduction to the basics and open up the world of clay. You will gain a better understanding of the process and skill that goes into ceramics, along with creating your own piece to enjoy and inspire you towards a new hobby.

Intro to Hand Building - Each class has a specific project

***Your pieces will be finished with a underglaze decoration with a clear glaze applied by Wildstone staff. Pieces will be ready for pick up in two weeks. You can also schedule a time to come in and glaze your piece with $8 studio/glaze fee.

Wheel Throwing – Growing your Throwing
4 classes |2 hrs Long |Class Dates Vary| $180 |2 people per class | New to the world of clay? Or perhaps you threw some pots in high school and liked it, or you have some experience and want to expand your skills? This class will help you review or learn step by step the process of making wheel-thrown pieces for your home or kitchen. You will learn a variety of techniques to create pieces for everyday use. By the end of the class, you will be ready to continue to explore the possibilities of clay and what you’re capable of. |
Make a Mug on the Wheel
3 classes |2 hrs Long |Class Dates Vary| $135 |2 people per class | Make and design your own mug! This 3 session class gets you on the wheel making a mug shape that you like. Then we make a few handles and see which one will fit your hand and the mug. Finally we will glaze it in the last session. Depending how it goes you can end up with one or two mugs. |
Hand-Building - building with Clay
2 classes | 2 hrs Long |Class Dates Vary | $90 |4 people per class | Learn the basics of hand-building with clay. You will learn to design, add texture, and drape a soft slab over a mold. This class will also look at different ways to use underglaze and glaze to decorate your piece. You will have finished pieces by the end and the confidence to create more on your own. |

Technique Tuesdays classes 2 hour class|Tuesdays 10am - 12| $10 plus cost of bisque | 6 people per class | Walk-in Class | Needing some inspiration to liven up your pottery or you just want to learn how to paint pottery on a basic level. These fun two hour classes take you through learning and practicing a new technique each class. Classes are spread out through Sept - May, with a few repeat classes and surprise classes. Couples Wheel
1 classes | 2 hrs Long |Class Dates Vary| $120 per couple | Grab your date (or your best pal!) and try your hands at throwing pottery. This is a great way to try out pottery throwing without the big investment of time and cash. We will show you all the basics of throwing and then let you play! You will each get your own wheel to create from. Price of class includes keeping and firing 2 pieces per couple. (Additional pieces you wish to keep are only $10ea) We will bisque fire your masterpieces and you can return anytime to glaze at no extra charge! After you glaze your pottery we will fire it one more time so that it is food safe and beautiful. |
