Kids come Play with clay this summer!
Summer camps are designed for kids entering grade 2 - 4(ages 7-10). Each camp is three sessions and costs $70 per student. For kids 9 and up you can come learn how to throw on the wheel, these are week-long camps which take students through the whole process of making a finished piece of pottery.

Max 6 participants Cost $70 Theme: Mystic and Magical things Let's go to the magical world of Harry Pottery and make some tools that will help in the wizarding world. Projects: Make a wand w/light Paint your magic cup Paint a potion bottle Learn the vanishing water trick |
Max 6 participants Cost $70 Theme: Treasure Island The quest for treasure begins. Escaping the mountain of doom, find large creatures and finding the treasure. Projects: Make and paint a volcano Make a large Sea Shell Paint your treasure chest. |

Wheel Throwing Camp (9+)
Mud Week - This is when we get into the messy stuff and learn how to center the clay and throw a pot on the wheel. Kids will learn how to trim pieces and then we will fire them. While we wait for them to be fired they will learn a special way to decorate their pots called sgraffito. Our final two days will be glazing their pieces. Max 3 participants $150 |
Wheel Throwing Class (9+)
Mud Mondays - This is a short two-hour introduction to the wheel Kids get to experience throwing a piece on the wheel. They get a centered piece of clay and are then guided through the process of making something. The piece is then finished by us and then we'll let you know when you can come glaze it.
